FAQs
Here are some of the most frequently asked questsions. Please contact us using the information below if you need help.
How can I contact you?
Great question! And we're happy to answer more. You can reach us both at couple@kristenandspencer.com or contact us individually using the information below.
Are vaccines required?
No, not at this time. The proof of vaccindation requirement has been dropped in San Francisco and we're comfortable with that.
When we initially booked this event, we had to require vaccinations for all, but things have changed and hopefully COVID is a worry of the past. If you have any concerns related to COVID and our event, please contact us and lets discuss!
Do I need proof of vaccination against Covid-19?
As of April 2022, proof of vaccination is not required in San Francisco.
What are masking requirements like in San Francisco?
As of April 2022, many people still wear masks, but there isn't an enforced requirement.
Are any events indoors?
Yep! San Francisco has had small and large scale indoor events going on for some time now.
Is there an open bar?
Sure is! All drinks are covered at the reception, but a little extra cash tip for your bartender is never a bad idea.
May I bring a guest?
If your invitation has a "Guest" line, then yes! If not, then we would prefer it if you contact us to discuss options.
Are kids invited?
Only if your kids are listed on your RSVP. We love your kids, but please take the night off with us! There are many babysitters in the area available on care.com if you'd like to travel with your little one and book a sitter for the night.
Should I rent a car?
We do not recommend renting a car; Car break-ins are common in tourist areas like Fisherman's Wharf, and hotel parking fees are very high. Ubers, Lyfts, and Taxis will be less expensive, faster, safer, and more convenient.
Is there transportation between the hotels and wedding venue?
Yep! Shuttles will run between the wedding venue and the hotels before the ceremony and after the reception. There will also be a dropoff at a local karaoke joint after the reception. There will not be shuttles from karaoke to the hotels. Uber and Lyfts are readily available. Please see the Travel page for details.
What's the dress code?
We want you to have fun and be comfortable, but ask that you aim for a fall cocktail attire. The ceremony will take place on grass, so please choose your footwear wisely. Ties are optional, but a sport coat or suit jacket should take its place.
Please note that it can get fairly cold in San Francisco on a fall night. Especially if it is foggy. Everyone should plan to bring a light jacket or shawl at a minimum to stay comfortable outdoors.
